In these chapters Winnie has learned much more about the effects of drinking the spring water. The Tucks have also imparted how drinking the spring water will affect the wheel of life. Although Angus, Mae, and Miles think being immortal is a horrible predicament, Jesse is much more positive about it.
Do you think Winnie should drink from the spring when she is 17 so she can be with Jesse? Why or why not?

ReplyDeleteNo because then her mom will probably get mad at Winnie if she gets married with Jessie. If Winnie gets married with Jesse then they will both want to run away and if she want's to drink the water from the spring and she gets married with Jesse then later on she will be mad for drinking the water if she gets bored of living her whole life.

Ryan I think that Winnie should drink from the spring because she does really likes him. here is a reasons why she shouldn't drink from the spring, she would never age, people wouldn't like her any more, and maybe her own family wouldn't trust her any more.

Maybe find someone that she likes. But in my part it looks like jesse really likes her and would want to be with her forever. So then after that they can live happily ever after.

I think she should drink from the spring because if they really like each other then they will do anything to be together. If she doesn't drink from the spring they can still be together but she'll get older and Jesse will stay the same and thats not right because he is 17 forever and she is going to look older than him.

I think that winni should drink from the water if she want to. But she would have tothink a bout it for a long time. But i also think they should not be together because Mae wantd to raise a mortal daughter because she wants to see winnie grow up and live her full life instead of being one age till the end of time. I think that Winnie should drink the spring water when she is 17 and run off with Jesse so they can get married. she might have a great time with him and they won't ever get old and they can do almost anyting together because they will never die. they will just keep living their life and enjoying it. since Jesse realy likes her they will do anything to be together. But maybe if Winnie finds another guy that she will be able to be with and still grow then she shouldn't drink the spring water.
